This video shows the black carbon mask laser facial.
The black carbon mask dries on the face like all other masks. However, with other masks wiping with a cloth or rinsing with water does not clean as deep into the skin as this black carbon mask laser treatment.
When the laser interacts with the black carbon mask, the mask vaporizes and extracts dirt and oils from deeper in the skin than is possible with a regular mask.
This video shows the q-switched laser clearing a dark tattoo. This process is the same for clearing freckles and sun or age spots. You will notice the 1st pass with the laser removes or fades at least 50% of the tattoo. This is good to observe because it shows you why it takes 2 to 4 appointments to 100% clear freckles, sun and age spots and other sun damage.
This video shows a q-switch laser clearing a combination of sun damaged/discoloration and melasma. Melasma is a birth defect where skin is blotchy. The benefit of this video is showing how a q-switch laser targets color such as a sun or age spot, freckles and other blotchy pigmentation problems in the skin.
This video shows the q-switched laser clearing spider veins. The laser targets the red or blue color of the spider veins, dissolves these cells and the dead cells with the color are absorbed into the body = clear.
This video shows the IPL (intense pulse light) device being used on the face to lighten and clear spots and discoloration.
As you can see, the IPL covers a large area of skin compared to a q-switch that targets small specific spots.
It is common to use the IPL as step 1 to clear, lighten and brighten skin. Next step is the q-switch to target and clear remaining spots. And, a possible 3rd step is another appointment with the IPL for final skin color blending.
Think of the IPL as covering a larger area while the q-switch is like a Sniper that targets small specific spots.
IPL for hair removal, skin toning etc. IMPORTANT. This video shows basic use of an IPL for hair removal. There are hundreds of imitation IPLs on Amazon and all over Youtube. These cheap devices do not work and it is these imitation IPLs that most salon/spas in Santiago and Santo Domingo purchase and use with their customers.
The price for IPL laser hair removal in Santiago or Santo Domingo may be inexpensive but this is often a scam. These imitation IPL lasers are very weak and do not have the power that is necessary to kill hair follicles. What happens is these services sell people on signing up with their low price per session yet with these imitation IPL lasers a customer must come to the salon once per week for 6 months to 1 year. Even then the odds of success are low.
The individual appointments may be less expensive yet they add up to be much more expensive compared to our service. Our professional medical grade IPL (intense pulse light) can get the job done in just a few appointments.
